Classes meet once a week from September 10-May 31, 2019. 

Tuition is auto-billed on the first of each month from September 1 through May 1, 2019. Intro classes are $55 per month and Youth classes are $58 per month. (Tuition is non-refundable) 

$25 annual Registration Fee, per family, reserves space in class. (Registration Fee is non-refundable) 

10% Sibling discounts available.

Multi-class discounts. $40 for two or more classes, per dancer.

Intro to Hip Hop & Youth Hip Hop Classes  

Intro to Jazz & Tap & Youth Jazz/Contemporary Classes 

Attire: 

  • Solid black leotard 
  • Classic pink dance tights
  • Pink leather or canvas Ballet shoes  

Intro to Jazz & Tap and Youth Jazz will focus on proper Jazz and basic Tap technique through floor and barre warm-up, stretches, isolations, progressions, and choreography. 

Classes will help increase each dancer's overall endurance, focus, discipline, musicality, and self expression. 

Attire: 

  • Solid black leotard 
  • Suntan dance tights
  • Tan Jazz shoes 
  • Black Tap Shoes (Intro to Jazz/Tap)  

Ballet is recommended for all dancers. 

Ballet classes will teach the fundamentals of classical ballet taught in the Vaganova technique by domestic and international award-winning ballerina, Aynsley Johnson (Inglis).  

Classes will focus on technique, proper body alignment, and musicality taught in a positive, encouraging learning environment.

Continue the dance journey or join Monarch Dance in our Youth Recreational Program designed for dancers ages 6 and up who are ready for a more structured dance class with an increased focus on dance technique, vocabulary, choreography, and self-expression. 

Intro to Ballet & Youth Ballet Classes

  • Monarch directors may cancel, combine, or reschedule classes not meeting minimum enrollment requirements. 
  • Class placement is at the discretion of Monarch School of Dance teachers and directors. 
  • Youth Recreational dancers may participate in the year-end recital. 

Intro to Hip hop and Youth Hip Hop are high-energy classes that infuse the latest styles of street dancing.

Classes will encourage students to bring their own individual style and personality to their movements during a dynamic warm-up, floor exercises, center work, and choreography.
