Monarch has added Pre-Professional Dance to its existing Mini Monarch and Youth Recreational class offerings.

This program brings an increased focus on quality training in a positive dance environment and is intended for serious dance students.

Dancers in the PPD program will learn and train in the Vaganova technique taught by a domestic and international award-winning ballerina, Aynsley Johnson (Inglis) of Universal Ballet in Seoul Korea, Tulsa Ballet, and First State Ballet Theater - among others.

The 9-month PPD program will consist of weekly dance class hours that focus on the development of Ballet skills, proper placement, vocabulary, flexibility, and musicality. Additional classwork in Pointe, Variations, Jazz, and Modern are also a part of the program along with fall and spring performance opportunities.
