Black leotard, tan tights, with optional black fitted shorts and tan Jazz shoes.

Boys: Monarch t-shirt (sold in the studio) with black leggings or athletic pants and black Jazz shoes. 

Pink skirted leotard or pink leotard, Ballet pink tights, and pink Ballet shoes. Please no skirts or tutus.*  

Boys: Monarch t-shirt (sold in the studio) and solid black athletic pants with black Acro/Gymnastic shoes and or Tap shoes. 

Black leotard, Ballet pink tights, and pink, split-sole Ballet shoes. Optional attire: leotard with an attached skirt or a separate black wrap skirt worn over a leotard.

Youth Jazz Classes (Includes Intro to Jazz/Tap)

  • Dancewear and shoes may be ordered in the studio or via our online store.                                Orders generally arrive in the studio within five business days or you may choose to have them shipped directly to your home.
  • A neat and tidy appearance is required. This sets an attitude of attentiveness and respect for students, teacher, and the art of dance.
  • No loose fitting pants, blue jeans, skirts, dresses or pajamas (they are not dance attire). Teachers must be able to see the dancer's body outline clearly in order to make proper corrections on posture, alignment, etc.
  • Hair must be properly secured and tied up off of the face and neck for all styles of dance.
  • Jewelry must not be loose or dangling.
  • Gum chewing is not allowed due to the danger of choking and appearance.
  • No costumes are allowed in class unless a dress-up day is announced.
