Ballet is recommended for all dancers. Our ballet classes will teach the fundamentals of classical ballet. Classes will focus on ballet technique, proper body alignment, French terminology and musicality. Students will be introduced to barre and center work.
This class will focus on proper jazz technique, improving energy and endurance as well as developing complex rhythms and patterns. Students will be exposed to various styles of jazz to help develop a well-rounded dancer. Class curriculum is based on ballet technique layered with traditional jazz movement and includes a warm-up, stretches, isolations, floor work, across-the-floor progressions, and combinations.
Hip hop is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing. Classes will encourage students to bring their own individual style and personality to their movements.
Introduce your tiny dancers to the basics of classical Ballet. This class explores movement through music, promotes creativity, musicality, and increases mind/body awareness. Young dancers will gain self-confidence and increases their ability to focus and follow directions in a classroom all while having fun!
Bring your movers and shakers to this energy filled class of fun creative movement, music and tumbling. A great introductory class for active boys and girls who show an interest in music and dancing.
Based in ballet and modern dance, this class teaches a fluid choreography, often using emotion to motivate the movement. The class will develop core strength, flexibility, and movement of the back. *Ballet is a co-class requirement for this class.
