Based in Vinyasa-style yoga practice, "bedtime yoga" uses traditional poses, postures, and simple breathing techniques to help the body and mind unwind. We move together through gentle sequences, with a focus on restoring ourselves. The poses can be modified and adapted for all bodies, or if the yogi/dancer is feeling tightness or pain from an injury.
Treating our bodies and minds with openness and kindness, we stretch and strengthen. We welcome pillows and blankets to help the practice feel safe and comfortable. We move slowly, mindfully, and deliberately so that we may become more embodied within ourselves, and build a solid yoga foundation that can benefit young yogis and dancers alike!
Please bring a few pillows, and a blanket! Mats are great, but not required.
